Apologetics is
the vindication of the Christian philosophy of life against the various forms
of the non-Christian philosophy of life.
-Cornelius Van Til-
It has been said that Van Til’s influence
will be seen by future generation as the “Copernican Revolution” in the study
of apologetics. Van Til stressed that the method and content of Reformed
Apologetics must be consistent with the Reformed faith. The biblical doctrines such as the Trinity, the Total Depravity, the General Revelation and response of fallen men and
our entire biblical worldview must shape our apologetics. The focus of this
course will be Van Til’s epistemology and its relationship to apologetics, as interpreted
by John Frame. Samuel Ling had been the student of both Van Til and Frame.
For those who are new to Apologetics (or presuppositional apologetics), we will be arranging an intensive introductory session on 9th March 2013 in KL. For those interested, please call 0125019914 or email us at horizoncourse.kl@gmail.com
